Note: Cotton is a great fabric for summer because of its breathability, but in the winter it can cause problems especially when it is next to your skin. During periods of high activity, you generally sweat. The cotton absorbs your moisture and stays wet. Then when you are sitting still for awhile, you cool down and the wet cotton layer next to your skin causes you to stay very cold. For this reason we recommend synthetic, wicking fabric. It is a good idea to have several layers of clothing, especially on top. Then as you start to heat up, you can remove them before you work up a sweat. As you cool down, you put them back on to stay warm. Optional Items:
